Christopher Karl Wiland

Mr. Christopher Karl Wiland, 44, of Hilliard, FL passed away Monday, June 17 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born August 5, 1979 in Cumberland, MD. He was a member of River Road Baptist Church. He was an avid Jacksonville Jaguars fan and enjoyed playing fantasy football with his church friends. Chris was employed with International Flavors and Fragrances and was a former employee of St. Johns River Power Park. But most of all, he loved his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law: Lindsey and Turner Cameron of Ellabell, GA; a son: Lucas Avery Wiland of Jacksonville, FL; his parents: Walter Robert Wiland and Mary Jane Hetz Wiland; a sister and brother-in-law: Melissa and James Finley of Waycross, GA; his grandchildren: Everly and Crew Cameron; uncles: Bob Hetz and Sylvan Wiland; his niece and nephews: Nathan Seth Finley, Jacob Ian Finley, Anna Jane Finley; and his special furbaby: Poody.

The family will receive friends Friday, June 21 at River Road Baptist Church in Hilliard from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 22 at 3:00 PM at River Road Baptist Church with Rev. Benji Loyd and Rev. Hal McIntosh officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Finley, Turner Cameron, Nathan Finley, Jacob Finley, Jason Lemka and Richard Pearce.
