Elizabeth Ann McIntosh

Elizabeth Ann Layden McIntosh, 107, of Hilliard, FL passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024 at the Life Care Center of Hilliard. She was born July 10, 1917 in Pasquotank County, NC to the late Thomas L. Layden and Cora Felton Layden. She was a homemaker and loved to work outside in her yard. In her younger years, she was a telephone operator for 13 years in Elizabeth City, NC. Mrs. McIntosh was a faithful member of Live Oak Baptist Church for over 66 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 husbands: John Clayton Bradoock and Arnold McIntosh; 3-sisters: Dorothy Pendleton, Roxie Palmer Jones and Mildred Archer; and 3-brothers: Tullie Lee Layden, Henry T. Layden and Johnnie F. Layden.

She leaves behind to mourn her passing 16 nieces and nephews that loved her dearly. 

A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday, August 27 at 3:00 PM at Live Oak Baptist Church with Pastor David King officiating. The family will greet friends an hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
