Thomas Virgil Beasley

Thomas Virgil “Tommy” Beasley, 95, of Hilliard, FL went home to be with his Lord, Sunday, July 14, 2024. Mr. Beasley was born June 19, 1929 in Hilliard, FL to the late Joseph Thaddeus Beasley and Vera Davis Beasley. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He attended Jacksonville University and Aurburn University. Mr. Tommy retired as a rural mail carrier with the USPS. He coached numerous Little League teams in Hilliard for over 10 years. In life, Mr. Beasley always put God first. He loved his Lord, his big beautiful family and his church. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Callahan where he was a Deacon Emeritus.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Ronald Gilbert “Ronnie” Beasley.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years: Jeannette Beasley; 3-children: Valarie Diane Beasley, Joseph Woodrow (Kathy) Beasley, Anjanette Beasley (Bill) Saunders; 10-grandchildren: Cayla (Bobby) Elrod, Shali (Jason) Geiger, Victoria (Josh) Conner, Carrie April Beasley, R.G. Beasley, T.J. Beasley, Shane (Rachel) Beasley, J.D. (Melissa) Sauls; Jenny (Adam) Hamilton, Heather Kern; 14-great grandchildren; daughter-in-law: Brenda Beasley.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, July 17 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Callahan, 45090 Green Avenue, Callahan, FL.
